What customers say?

“ A cozy, unassuming little ramen store tucked away along the street. I was craving tsukemen and came across this shop. I went in and ordered from their small menu (Wafū Tsukemen) - there is no English menu, so have your translation app ready if needed. The shop was small, seating maybe 10 people at maximum, and when I got there close to 10pm, there were only a few people there. The tsukemen came out quite quickly - a good helping of noodles sitting in ice water, with goji berries and radish greens. The noodles were a little thin, but very chewy and paired well with the broth. The broth was served hot, and was deeply umami. The broth also included some green onion and boiled pork, both of which were quite tasty. The radish greens also added a light spicy taste to the overall dish, creating a nice change in flavor profile. Overall, a very tasty bowl that leaves you refreshed. Total cost for the bowl was 1,000yen, which is incredible value for the quality they produce. I would highly recommend trying this place at least one time ”

“ While bar-hopping in Nagarekawa, Hiroshima, I was recommended this ramen shop as the most recommended place to end a night. I was already full from the Japanese-style tsukemen here, but the teppan harmony of duck and scallions added richness to the sweet and spicy broth, and when I ate it with the yuzu pepper dissolved in it, the noodles were so light and easy I didn't feel a single ounce of guilt! This is the kind of noodle dish that makes you want to go out of your way to return and recommend others (lol). I happened to be able to sit at the counter, but after I did, a line had formed outside the store. As it's a counter-only restaurant, I recommend going with a small group or alone. ”

“ Even though we visited late at night, the place was packed, so we had to wait a bit. Since we were there for a late-night snack, I was a bit full, but the broth was refreshing and delicious enough to satisfy my hunger. I had the shina soba, and the locals next to me were also eating it, exclaiming, "Umai!" ”

“ The perfect final bowl of ramen! I went to "Hanaichimonme," a popular ramen shop in Hiroshima! It's highly acclaimed among local ramen lovers, so I was excited to visit. The interior is simple and calming. Counter seating is the main attraction, making it easy to drop in even if you're alone. It was a lively yet comfortable space. The soup was a light, Japanese-style dashi with an incredibly refined flavor. It had a clean finish, making it so delicious you'll want to drink it all. The noodles were thin and straight, perfectly intertwined with the soup! The turnover was quick, so even if it was busy, you probably wouldn't have to wait too long to eat. The prices were reasonable, and considering the flavor and portion size, I was very satisfied! I'll definitely come again! Thank you for the meal. ”

“ I ordered the Japanese-style tsukemen (1,000 yen). The dipping sauce was a combination of chicken and duck stock and a soy sauce dipping sauce. The noodles were medium-thick, loosely curled, and the toppings were duck meat, green onions, radishes, and goji berries. It was cold water tsukemen. The broth was rich and flavorful, without the fishy smell typical of duck meat. The sweet and spicy dipping sauce and the overall sauce were perfectly balanced. The noodles were unobtrusive and smooth, with a smooth texture and a firm texture, thanks to being chilled in cold water and ice. The toppings were simple yet well-balanced, and the duck meat was generously generous. Duck tsukemen is a genre where hits and misses can be quite pronounced, but this was a hit. The restaurant was clean and hygienic, and while the price was a bit high, it was reasonable for the product, so I had no regrets. The customer service from the sole owner was just average, without any omissions. There was nothing wrong with it, and it was the first time I'd had such delicious duck water tsukemen in a long time, so I'm very satisfied. I'll give it the highest rating of 5 stars! ”
